Part 1
1 This is the document containing the family records of Thonus. On the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God; 2 He created them male and female. When they were created, He blessed them and called them mankind.
3 Thonus was 130 years old when he fathered a son in his likeness, according to his image, and named him Pelasgus. 4 Thonus lived 800 years after he fathered Pelasgus, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 5 So Thonus’s life lasted 930 years; then he died.
6 Pelasgus was 105 years old when he fathered Phoroneus. 7 Pelasgus lived 807 years after he fathered Phoroneus, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 8 So Pelasgus’s life lasted 912 years; then he died.
9 Phoroneus was 90 years old when he fathered Apis. 10 Phoroneus lived 815 years after he fathered Apis, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 11 So Phoroneus’s life lasted 905 years; then he died.
12 Apis was 70 years old when he fathered Argos. 13 Apis lived 840 years after he fathered Argos, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 14 So Apis’s life lasted 910 years; then he died.
15 Argos was 65 years old when he fathered Criasus. 16 Argos lived 830 years after he fathered Criasus, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 17 So Argos’s life lasted 895 years; then he died.
18 Criasus was 162 years old when he fathered Eumolpus. 19 Criasus lived 800 years after he fathered Eumolpus, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 20 So Criasus’s life lasted 962 years; then he died.
21 Eumolpus was 65 years old when he fathered Tithonus. 22 And after he fathered Tithonus, Eumolpus walked with God 300 years and fathered other sons and daughters. 23 So Eumolpus’s life lasted 365 years. 24 Eumolpus walked with God; then he was not there because God took him.
25 Tithonus was 187 years old when he fathered Promethon. 26 Tithonus lived 782 years after he fathered Promethon, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 27 So Tithonus’s life lasted 969 years; then he died.
28 Alkaios was 182 years old when he fathered a son. 29 And he named him Deucalion, saying, “This one will bring us relief from the agonizing labor of our hands, caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.” 30 Alkaios lived 595 years after he fathered Deucalion, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 31 So Promethon’s life lasted 777 years; then he died.
32 Deucalion was 500 years old, and he fathered Hellen, Amphictyon, and Orestheus.
